Our team was at the conference and checked the most exciting topics from the AWS community.
The event was divided into two sections. Developers & IT Professionals section was focused on solving technical problems with AWS technologies. The executives' section was focused on improving business solutions with AWS services.
A very interesting keynote under the title: 'Innovating as a High-Frequency Enterprise' was held by Mark Schwartz (AWS evangelist). Mark is a part of an expert group in AWS and world-renowned CIO that helps enterprise customers migrate to AWS. In his presentation, Mark talked about innovations that AWS services bring to enterprise environments.
Luka Kladarić (Sekura Collective) held a very interesting presentation under the title: 'The Platform is Dead, Long Live the Platform.' He talked about public-facing APIs and changes in internal platforms for internal toolkits.
'Repsly and AWS: Still in Honeymoon Period?' was a presentation held by Mladen Maravić from Repsly. Year ago, Repsly migrated from IBM Softlayer Cloud to AWS and cut down the operating costs by staggering 40%. Mladen described how Repsly uses cloud-native AWS services to improve the quality of their service.
The city of Opatija was really beautiful in this part of the year. It is a great place to host such an informative and exciting event.
