By the keynote from Andy Jassy (AWS CEO), the cloud is still in its early days. Even though migration to the cloud provides many benefits compared to on-premise systems, 97% of companies still spend their money on on-premise infrastructure.
This year, AWS announced a lot of new and exciting services and features that will help companies move to the cloud faster and easier.
Graviton EC2 Instances - M6g, R6g, and C6g
New EC2 instances that offer up to 40% better price-performance for general purpose, compute-intensive, and memory-intensive workloads.
Local zones
New type of AWS infrastructure deployment that place compute, storage, database, and other select services closer to large population, industry, and IT centers, enabling you to deliver applications that require single-digit millisecond latency to end-users.
SageMaker Studio
Amazon SageMaker Studio is the first comprehensive IDE (integrated developer environment) for machine learning. It allows developers to build, train, explain, inspect, monitor, debug, and run their machine learning models from a single interface.
The whole conference was really well organized; it was a great place to learn, have fun, and meet a lot of interesting people from the AWS community.
